James Einolf's Gibson L-1 Replica

James Einolf is a luthier in Castle Rock, CO who specializes in making replicas of the depression-era Gibson L-0 and L-1 acoustic guitars (renowned bluesman Robert Johnson was once photographed holding one). Shown below is Guitar #51, x-brace construction with a Spruce top and Mahogany body. James is able to handcraft approximately 12 guitars a year, and over the years has created quite the capable woodworking shop.
