What a treat getting to shoot at a venue where the sun is at your back! Seems like the open end of the pool at nearly every swim meet is staring straight into the sun, just like most finish lines, etc.

While taking a short hike, we stumbled upon a 'natural halfpipe' standing vertically, not a place I'd like to be shortly after a downpour!

Gallop at the Grove 2010

Snaked at the line!

You just gotta love it! Here you think you're going to win your first criterium, and some dude in an Olympia beer jersey flies up out of nowhere and tries to ruin your victory celebration at the line! DOH! Crappy picture, but just had to share it...
